pGN presidential Welcome.
It is my great honor to welcome you to Boston University’s Beta Chapter of Phi Gamma Nu.
Phi Gamma Nu (PGN) is a national, entrepreneurship-focused, co-ed professional development organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in business and beyond. With chapters across the United States and an expansive network of accomplished alumni spanning a wide range of industries, PGN empowers its members to strive for excellence, pursue meaningful careers, and make lasting impacts. We take pride in fostering an environment where ambition is nurtured, ideas are encouraged, and collaboration thrives.
At Boston University, PGN extends far beyond Questrom. We welcome students of all majors, embracing a diverse and multidisciplinary community in which every member brings unique talents, experiences, and perspectives. We believe some of the most meaningful ideas emerge when people who think differently come together with a common purpose.
Through professional development workshops, networking opportunities, start-up pitch training, service initiatives, and access to a global network of lifelong connections, PGN provides members with a platform for both personal and professional growth. Whether you aspire to build a company, enter an established industry, pursue a creative field, or forge an entirely different path, PGN is a place to challenge yourself, learn from those around you, and turn ambition into action.
Bringing Phi Gamma Nu to Boston University was no easy task. Our journey began before our official recognition, as we worked to establish relationships, build a community, and demonstrate what PGN could bring to BU. With the University no longer approving new fraternities, we were told that the likelihood of recognition was slim. Yet through persistence, vision, and the dedication of our founding members, Phi Gamma Nu officially became a recognized organization at Boston University in the fall of 2024.
That journey continues to shape who we are today. It reminds us that the most meaningful opportunities are often the ones we create for ourselves and that limits are meant to be challenged.
At Phi Gamma Nu, we believe ambition should never be limited by your major, your background, or where you begin. We encourage our members to think boldly, pursue what excites them, and create opportunities that extend far beyond what they once thought possible.
Here, the sky is the limit.
Warm regards,
PGN Beta Chapter President
